Dr Nick Williams

Nick Williams was awarded a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Merit) from the University of Otago in 2001, receiving prizes in Paediatric dentistry and Restorative Dentistry.

Throughout the next four years he worked In Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery departments in Hutt Hospital, Wellington and Newcastle, New South Wales. After developing a wide range of skills in oral surgery, he chose to resume a career in general dentistry (with a special interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Throughout the last 13 years, Nick has focussed his professional development on all aspects of cosmetic dentistry including composite and ceramic restorations and orthodontics with Invisalign clear aligners. His passion is, however, implant dentistry, ranging from single tooth replacement through to full arch or full mouth options.

Nick is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Global Institute for Dental Education, and has completed the GIDE Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry.

At Dental Holistix, Nick is dedicated to providing long-lasting dentistry of the highest quality and equipping patients to achieve the best oral health possible.

When not working, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife Kara and two children. He has a passion for surfing, cycling and music of all kinds.
