Blessy Alex

Blessy was awarded the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Merit) from the Christian Dental College in 2013, with Gold medal in Oral Surgery and Orthodontia. 

Blessy got registered to work as a general dentist in New Zealand following completion of the Dental Council licensure exams.

She is a strong believer in continuing education and advances her knowledge in the ever-changing field of dentistry by attending various courses and conferences both locally and internationally. . She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, Waikato and Bay of Plenty Branch of NZDA and New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (NZACD).

Blessy has been constantly upskilling herself in the wide ranges of restorative procedures (esp. minimally invasive dentistry), cosmetic dentistry (including composite and ceramic restorations), specialised root canal techniques, orthodontics with Invisalign Clear aligners, advanced surgical techniques, restoration of implants and assisting in complex oral and maxillofacial prosthesis

At Dental Holistix, Blessy enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to providing high quality dental care to her patients. She uses modern technology and armamentarium for providing comprehensive dentistry.  She has a special gift for putting patients at ease and a gentle touch that will have even the most anxious patients smiling before they leave. She believes in educating and empowering her patients for the best oral health possible.

Blessy is multilingual and converses fluently in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil and Punjabi.

When not at work, Blessy enjoys spending time with her husband and is passionate about exploring nature.
